Natasha Williams has a day job making wine for Hasher but she also has her own label where she finds and vinifies the finest parcels of cool climate fruit in the valley.
This sparkling wine is made from 66% Clairette Blanche; 24% Vermentino and 10% Muscat d’Alexandrie from upper Hemel & Aarde Valley.
Tasting Notes: The nose offers white peaches, pears and floral aromas. There is fine texture on the palate, complimented by refreshing acidity, fine mousse and appealing dry finish.
Food Pairing: The wine works well with foods featuring bright, fresh, and slightly savory components, designed for youthful enjoyment. Seafood: Pan-seared scallops, raw oysters with mignonette, or grilled prawns. Appetizers: Charcuterie, creamy goat cheese, or light vegetable appetizers. Main Courses: Light risotto, sushi, or white fish in citrus butter.
