A beautifully poised rosé that captures the freshness of Bottelary Hills

Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, the Hazendal Bottelary Hills Rosé 2025 is a wine that celebrates purity, precision and place. Sourced from the light, granitic soils of Bottelary Hills, the grapes were carefully selected and harvested at varying levels of ripeness to build both complexity and freshness. Whole-bunch pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel preserve the wine’s vibrant fruit character, while a small portion of the wine spent time on the skins and underwent secondary fermentation to add texture and aromatic depth. The result is a refined, bone-dry rosé with remarkable energy and elegance.

Tasting notes: Delicate seashell pink in colour. The nose opens with fresh strawberry, white peach and hints of white cranberry, underpinned by a distinctive wet stone minerality. The palate is bright and focused, revealing layers of pink grapefruit, raspberry and mixed berry fruit. A fine thread of white pepper spice adds intrigue, while crisp acidity and a subtle stony texture carry through to a long, dry and refreshing finish.

Fresh Seafood: Oysters, prawns or line fish ceviche complement the wine’s crisp acidity and mineral character.
