The vibrant Flowergirl Range celebrates creativity, experimentation, and a departure from tradition. Crafted from organically grown grapes from Botanica’s home vineyards on Protea Heights Farm, these wines are all about less intervention, less convention, and maximum deliciousness!
The grapes were hand harvested at 22° B, hand sorted, destemmed, crushed and gently pressed. The wine was spontaneously fermented in a concrete egg and stainless tank, where it remained on its lees for 3 months before bottling. No malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes: Intense aromatics of white peach and pink grapefruit follow through on the vibrant palate. Packed with zesty acidity, the wine refreshes with its juicy nectarine flavors, backed by undercurrents of grapefruit pith, lemongrass and lime zest.
Food Pairing: Seafood (The Ultimate Match) - Raw & Lightly Cooked: Oysters with lemon, ceviche, sashimi, or tuna tartare. Grilled/Steamed: Grilled prawns, mussels, clams, or white fish like halibut and sea bass. Rich Seafood: Lobster bisque or creamy clam chowder to cut through the richness.
